Todd E. Trudel, OD
Dr. Todd Trudel is originally from Cando, ND. He completed his undergraduate studies in Valley City ND, before attending optometry school at Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago, IL. In 1990, Dr. Trudel graduated from ICO in the top 4% of his class of with Magna Cum Laude status. He was also honored by being selected the top clinician in his graduating class of 160 doctors. Dr. Trudel did his residency rotation at the Veterans Administration Clinic, specializing in Glaucoma Management and Anterior/Posterior eye Disorder. He started his private practice in 1990 in Granite Falls and Madison, Minnesota, in 1992 Dr. Trudel expanded his practice in to Benson, MN. Dr.Trudel and his wife, Nancy, reside in Granite Falls with their three daughters. They enjoy sports and family time together.

Tammy Enstad, CPOA
Tammy Enstad joined our practice 4 years ago. Tammy is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and a member of the Minnesota Paraoptometric Associated.

Kay Pederson, CPOA
Kay Pederson graduated from Minnesota West Community and Technical College and is a certified Paraoptometric Assistant. Kay is also a member of the Minnesota Paraoptometric Association. Kay has worked in this field for 19 years. Kay works at our Benson location.

Diane Schwerin, CPOA
Diane Schwerin furthered her education at Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Granite Falls, MN. Diane graduated in 1989 as a Certified Paraoptomteric Assistant with an Outstanding Achievement Award. Diane has been working at this practice for 20 years. Diane is a member of the Minnesota Paraoptometric Association.

Kendra Thorson, CPOA
Kendra Thorson is originally from Kerkhoven, Minnesota. Kendra continued her education at Ridgewater College and graduated with an A.A.S. degree in 2002. Kendra expanded her education and is now a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. Kendra is a Member of the Minnesota Paraoptometric Association. Kendra has worked in this field for 5 1/2 years at our Benson, MN location.

Jeff Zervas, M.D.
Dr. Zervas was born and raised in Duluth, MN. After high school he served as an Infantry Sergeant in Viete Nam and then went off to earn a degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota in 1973. After obtaining his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1977, he completed one year of Family Practice Residency at Methodist Hospital in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota. He then completed three years of specialized training in an Ophthalmology Residency Program in San Antonia, Texas. In 1985 after completing both oral and written exams he became certified by the American Board of Opthalmology. In 1987 he completed a fellowship inNeuro-Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Since that time he has practiced as a general Ophthalmologist with special interests in Eye Surgery and Glaucoma. He currently limits his practice to surgery of the eye and eyelids including Cataract extraction, Glaucoma Surgery, Eye Laser Surgery and Refractive Surgery (LASIK). His other interests include gardening, hunting and fishing,and he has a small farm in Pope County.
